The Auxiliary Bridge was roaring with spirit as our beloved Houston Texans mascot, TORO, visited our hospital to celebrate his upcoming induction into the Mascot Hall of Fame — and what a celebration it was!
TORO paraded across the bridge walkway, surrounded by a cheerful crowd decked out in Houston Texans gear and waving eye-catching props. In addition to high-fiving enthusiastic team members, patients and families along the bridge, TORO stopped to strike fun and spirited poses.
Our paw-static animal-assisted therapy dogs, Melman and Pluto, stole the show, too. The fur-credible pups took photos with TORO and our patients, which were equal parts heartwarming and hilarious.
From TORO’s grand entrance to Melman and Pluto’s star-powered meet-and-greet, the energy on the bridge was electric. Together, we gave TORO the Hall-of-Fame welcome he deserves.
